Are 'bad caps' still a thing?

I stick to Keltron, and if that value is not in stock, listen to my retailer. He gives me good stuff, at reasonable prices.

Keltron is a licensee (Indian) of Sprague, they are consistently good. Fakes abound at some places.
I would rather pay a little extra than risk the job / item on a bad cap.
I rarely purchase in bulk, so I do not have the need to save money, as required by manufacturers.

I can recommend avoiding yxtcap as a brand, these sat in a class D amplifier, a cheapy, not for very long and certainly it never got warm.. and only ran at about 20V too...
... and look, one of the legs fell off LOL.

Photo 2 shows the row - they should all be level :D
