I lost my archived copy of Geoff Moss's outstanding Class-A Amplifier website http://www.gmweb.btinternet.co.uk/index.htm
Does anyone here have a copy of his entire website?
I found a text-only archive on http://www.archive.org
but it's unfortunate that all the pictures are missing.
Please if anyone can help, I would appreciate it....
Geoff's site has been down for a while - does anyone know if he will bring it back?
Thanks
Brian

Geoff promised to update the site, but he has private problems so it will take a while. Have you tried the google cache?
Google cache - how do I find this service?Taco said:Geoff promised to update the site, but he has private problems so it will take a while. Have you tried the google cache?
I've already checked the google cache and it would appear that they no longer have a cache of his site either.
I have the entire site as a web-archive (readable in IE for mac only). If you can use that I can make the file available to you. Otherwise I can try to print some of it to pdf, but I don't have much time at the moment, so it will probably take some time to get that arranged. Mail me if interested.
/U.
PS: The archive is from march 24th, and so it should contain the newest updates.

they do have at least one page up still, http://www.google.com/search?q=cach...sl.htm+"Geoff+Moss"++amplifier&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 here, but it doesn't have any of the pictures on it I'm affraid. so it won't be any better than the one you already have.
Anybody know how I can get IE to make a local copy of a full webpage?
Whenever I set this up, it protests about a missing password even if the site is manually completely accessible without password.

I hope to have my website up and running again (with a new URL) within a few weeks. In the meantime, if there is a specific schematic that you require send me an email and I will forward a copy. In view of my other commitments at the moment, please limit requests to essential requirements only.

Hi Geoff,
I was also missing you and your site! Good to hear from you - hope you're well. Let me know when you have your new URL and I'll restore the link that my site had to you...
Best regards,
Mark

Geoff,
I've got quite a bit of your site copied onto my laptop. Would you mind if I posted some zipfiles here? Obviously, it your copyright and you're entitled to decline.
Cheers

In reality, a significant proportion of my website was copies of articles whose copyright is owned by the original author or publisher. I have been having a few pangs of conscious about this during recent months since I do not wish to breach the copyright laws but am unable to contact the authors to obtain permission to reproduce the articles.
It shouldn't be too long before my website is reinstated in one form or another and in the meantime I am more than happy to email particular sections to anyone who needs them. Some of the pages need updating and I would prefer to have the opportunity to include the latest information in an email reply rather than just have the old version posted on this forum.

Thanks to everyone for helping out regarding Geoff's site and special thanks goes out to Geoff himself. I emailed people (like Mark!)... I posted in forums... sorry if I was a bit persistent!
Geoff: Your site is in my top 10 URL list. Thank you for creating it, maintaining it, and sharing your knowledge with us.
And although I don't know you personally, the first time I stumbled upon your site and started reading the material I kinda wished I had an audio "mentor" growing up (this feeling comes from my youthful days spent reading, "The Once and Future King" by T.H. White.
Anyhow.... behind every website is a real person so I wish you all the best and I look forward to seeing your site up again.
Regards,
Brian
