Arcam AVR350 not initialising

I have an Arcam AVR350 that is not initialising and I need someone based in the UK who can help me fix it. It initialises successfully when the daughter boards are removed but not when the daughter boards are installed. I am not an experineced electronics DIY person.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

have you pulled out the boards (modules)?
if - YES , can you take pictures of some places?

here are the places that need to be photographed, these are points 1 and 2. And take a more detailed picture of the capacitor CAPS! At point 2 (the module with an edge), you need to take a picture of the capacitors that are long and stand at the very bottom (therefore, you need to first pull out the module)

==========================
Here I described my repairs
Arcam is being disabled (resolved)

AVR350 pictures

Many thanks for your reply and trying to help me.
I have attached the pictures you asked for but my model is AVR350 and the boards look different from the one in your picture.

The capacitors on the Main board were recently changed and the unit does not fail intialisation when the mother boards are not installed.
It only fails to initialize and shut down when the daughter boards are installed.
It makes me to think that the problem is with one of the daughter boards.

1. in my photo, the model AVR300, it differs slightly from AVR350.
2. If there was a replacement of capacitors. then the amplifier worked or has already stopped initializing ?
3. please take a photo of this capacitor for bloating.

5. my Arcam300 has a swollen capacitor on the side board - this is point 2 in my photo. the capacitor had to be replaced. you have exactly the same board and check your capacitor on your board (point 2)

this is a dual board, the capacitor is at the very bottom and it is the longest. the photo shows the parameters of this capacitor next to it and it can be seen that it is swollen. check with yourself.

1. if the amplifier stopped working after replacing the capacitors, then you need to check what was soldered - tin could accidentally drip and close the tracks.

and what was inserted / pulled out - in the connectors of the boards, sometimes you can bend the contacts and not notice it.

2. if the amplifier has stopped working by itself, then I repeat that this model has 2 problem spots - point 1 and 2. Where at point 1 a broken capacitor sometimes leads to the burning of the diodes.
3. Also, the main problem of all Arcam is the relay. in the 300-350 models, the soldering of the power relays is destroyed (for more information in my forum topic, it is treated with soldering), and for everyone, the contact of the sound relays deteriorates - Clicks appear, the volume disappears in one column, and so on. it is treated by replacing the relay - it is inexpensive and the best way to repair.

4. Your initialization process can be checked without inserting one board + turning on the amplifier. and so on in turn. But if a mistake was made when soldering capacitors, then this will not help to find the defect.

PS have you soldered/ changed the capacitors yourself?
