Nope, i went to buy one once, after reading all the mags, but walked out the shop with an Exposure Super XX. No regrets 9 years on.

I've just given the case a quick blow-over with spray paint and although it will never be 100%, it's passable.
The big decision is whether to keep it and mod it OR Ebay.

The big hunk toroid of the Alpha-10 deserves better, it was sized for a 3-channel layout (afaik)
4 quid is a steal for so many beauty parts, are the 4 output devices not Toshiba models ?
I like the Alpha 10. It doesn't fit with my current tastes, but it offers supremely good, relaxing listening. It's certainly not as bad as you make out Jacco, ( 😉 ), and would work well with an over-bright main system.

Thanks for that Andy. Now all I have to do is try and persuade them to give me the dAVe board schematic, last time I asked a year or so ago they said it was proprietary and wouldn't release it. 🙁
