Hi All, I'm new to the forum, and really pleased I've found it.
I've recently come across a 1984 Philips SQ20 mixer amplifier. its been wired for 100v line working, but wondered if it could be used direct with speakers like a PA amp. The only difference I can see is that its fitted with an output transformer and no capacitor decoupling for speakers.
Any ideas welcome.
Merv

Connect an 8R load between pins 6 (hot) and 2 (cold).
The wiring is selectable with the snap fix plug wiring on the rear.

Hello,
A friend of mine has a SQ20 Philips. I would be interested by any documentation and electronic schematic about it. The idea is to restore this vintage PA amp.
Probably its performances are rather poor, I guess...
Thanks in advance
