I have a bunch of left over Apple ID chips from a place i used to work. they are used to enable the digital output and presumably other functions. I have zero info on them. I have no idea how they work or any sort of info other than what they are. would anyone have any use for them before i just toss them out?
I am not sure what an air tag is. these are IC's some specific IC that tells an apple device to turn on the digital output. they were used in a DAC
i understand, that is not what these are. Not sure what to call them. apple authentication chips is maybe better?
what they don't know wont hurt them! these are for experimentation use. I have maybe 10 or 12 of them I thinkI'm surprised that Apple allows you to give them away. They tend to be pretty restrictive.
Tom
Apple MFi ic's apparently these are called.
