I now have a pair of the EH-800-A bowtie horns that I want to put to use in a build. (Thanks Ladylinux) Because of their interesting shape, mounting solutions are not very straightforward so I was hoping some on here could post how they went about using them.
I've seen the simple use of metal L brackets with a platform board set on top of the bass bin or whatever, but some other interesting ways to go about mounting them would be cool to see.
I could figure out the cut to mount them on a baffle I guess too if that is even appropriate.

Mounting the EH-800-A on a baffle with the woofer will reduce center to center distance, reduce edge diffraction, and provide better loading to a lower frequency, all very appropriate for high-fidelity.

Just for additional consideration, these will be used in a speaker that includes two Altec 414A woofer in each speaker and 802D drivers.
what's a good paint stripper, primer and paint for those horns? - I've got one mostly bare and oxidizing and another with too much old paint - they are really pleasant horns.
