Anyone used the IRFP450 in a Zen

Has anyone used the IRFP450 in the Zen. It seems to have a slightly higher input impedence than the IRFP044, but about the same input capacitance. Anyone got any ideas how it might sound when compared. I was thinking about buying up some cheap stock and using them to test my wiring and then possably upgrading to IRF044 later.

All ideas appreciated.

I use IRFP448 in my test version of Zen (part 2, fig.2). It's work OK ! There is no problem at all.

Any heat problems

The extra resistance over a lower voltage version would sujest that these devises might heat up more. What Voltage are you running them at.

In the Zen, the transistors are in high resistance/dissipation mode almost all the time.
