Anyone used Selenium 15" Woofers?
Especially the WPU 1505 or the WPU 1507 QCF
Cause I have the 1507 QCF in my Altec A7 cabinets and they sound really great but I really don't have a reference point. ie: There isn't another set with different drivers beside them to compare with. So how did I do?
From my point, I am pleased with the ruggedness of them. Those cones are quite the hunk of space age plastic! And don't worry about off sounds from the cone, by the time these things warm up, you kinda lose that plasticky (is that a word?) sound. I am running these with a Carver Cube on each so volume is plentiful.
Scares all them bears away!
