Sadly I've found through organising group buys and events that people rarely put their money where their mouth is!

i'll be bringing ( sat only)

some rough baffles..with lowther/goodmans drivers..
a Se valve amp probably using the DET25 valve on output duties
and an old dvd player..

this sounds quite good in my veiw...

there will not be much time.. the days will fly past..

the events i orgainse, we usually allow a couple of tracks per system and an introduction..
so listening to 3 systems an hour is pushing things.. to include swap overs etc..

I don't have Paypal and I'm still recovering from a lurgy. However, I have preliminary planning permission to go up to Chesterfield on the bike on Saturday and return Sunday. Obviously, there's no possibility of carrying a large amplifier in the bike's tank bag. I'll bung PM a £5 cheque in the hope that I can make it...

Well it's coming along. 25 confirmed for Saturday, and 16 for Sunday already. I think it's going to be great!

I'm going to hire a van to bring the Orions and 8 channel amps up. I'll also bring the Bravura fullrange speakers and chip amp to power them, and I may even bring up the redone TDL's just to see what Pinkmouse thinks of them 😉 I'd also take offers on them if anyone was interested.

I'll also bring up some WM-61A electrets, mic preamp boards, speaker fasteners and fullrange drivers in case anyone wants some at festival rates 😉

I'd encourange people to bring a few bits and bobs that you might want to sell/swap. One man's junk is another man's treasure and all that 😀

I will be bringing my Behringer DCX2496 digital xover with my custom analog multichannel level/balance/offset control built-in. See http://www.linearaudio.nl/6chan-1.htm . Would be nice if we could try it out with some 6-channels of power amps and speakers that can be driven to each driver separately.

Will be bringing my Senn HD580's (with modified Jack Skt) and the Headwize.com Kumisa III headphone amplifier.

I only have a standard Marantz CD63SE, should i still bring this to run the amp? Dont have an IPOD as not into MP3's.

Guess we could compare my standard with a moded 63.

Hi John,

A vanilla CD63SE would be handy to compare to my modded CD63KI. If I get it working in time. A new laser and hard-wired ribbons to the mech have failed to bring it back to life...
