Opinions... where is the specification 🙂

Unless you know and have means to measure what you are doing I suspect that the very act of adding and "piggybacking" clocks like this can actually be a retrograde step... it's so easy to make things worse. Carrying a clock signal at a few tens of meg is problematic... wires are no good as you can end up with a severely distorted signal due to mismatches etc.
Just my opinion for what it's worth 🙂

Specs... There aren't any as yet apart from it's a 5v TCXO with 2.5v out and 2 x 317's.

Are you not a fan of piggyback 'clocks'? I thought they were the most effective mod for a cdp, there's loads of clocks out there with praises such as Tentlabs, Trichord, Audioupgrades, Audiocon etc etc.

Would you rather clean up the existing clock supply and leave the XO alone?

Thanks.

You asked for opinions 🙂 so I gave you mine 😉

Hang on, I have an idea........ maybe if I started a thread on homebrew cabinets or possibly another opamp or CD63 thread and hid the 'cheap clock opinions' somewhere within, I may just then get some answers, or on the other hand, maybe not.
