Hi,
Looking in a components shop I've found 1F 5,5V Gold Caps used in computer stuff I presume.
But put 6 in series you end up with a whacking 166.000uF @ 33V
at a very decent price.
Should I consider this as a serious option in an audio-amp power-supply??

not really power supply material - except for memory chips.
