I'm sure it's not audiophile but I'm wondering how their linear tracking system works? Seems to ride on 2 round shaft bearings

A really crude linear tracker. Read the comments, it's a total fraud.
They claim severe shipping damage prevents filling the back orders.
It likely never worked at all. You'd be better off with this:

Oh I wasn't going to buy one, I was curious how their linear tracker worked that's all.
Reading the comments...wow it's clear these guys had no idea how to design something esp for mass production. Lots of angry customers

For FIVE YEARS they have put off people who prepaid in advance.
What did it cost, over $1000? Unbelievable. It looks like a toy.

Yeah, man! I had one, the older kind with the whip/switch. Natural tremolo! And what other record player fit in a pocket? You'd be better off with this:

Mine played 36rpm only. Yeah, quite sharp. It DID have some compensation for radius. And it plays 33, 45, and 78 (maybe with more batteries).
That "Wheel" monstrosity is one of the biggest hunk of Garbage ever pushed on the public.
Indeed, it's a SCAM.
As rayma mentioned in post #5, nothing more than another pathetic kickstarter lie.
It looks cute, so people will be drawn to it.
It's JUNK.

Sharp made few models of turntable which could play both sides of lp without turning it over. There were two linear tracking arms, one on top, one on the bottom. Its all been done.
