Scott Wurcer RIP was into Chinese calligraphy IIRC. If you've seen these guys at work in a market in China, you know it's pretty difficult to do. With just a few brush strokes, they create a masterpiece. Reminds me of a Japanese artist who draws dragons and goldfish by putting the brush on the surface (usually a lacquered box of some sort) and without lifting the brush creates the image.
