I'm going to be using 2 B-52 compression drivers for my mid-high cabinets. I'm looking for a SPL Graph, and would these work well with MCM's lens: APH-5757. If not, whats is a good priced horn I could use, I'm looking to crossover at 2000Hz. Or what's a good sized horn to get the most SPL out of the driver?

Hi,
the SPL matter is based on how the driver and the horn work together.
The acoustic impedance matching between the two determines the
efficiency.
shhh: I'm a newbie too in these things)
Since you decide the crossover point, you can easily calculate the lower
cutoff point that is determined by the size of the horn, precisely by the
measure of its mouth : just divide the velocity of sound in air ( 344 m/s)
by the lenght of the wavelenght...so for 2KHz you need about 6 " mouth aperture.
I suggest to try elliptical mouth horns.

- just ordered one going from one description that it uses a polymide diaphragm but most descriptions indicate titanium -
B52's page indicates its PETP - hope so just to get comparisons with my Ti drivers
