Has anyone heard of BSA Professional? I was in a speaker shop and the owner
AB'd a pair of 12" BSA Pro loudspeakers model BSA 12-500 (BSA SPEAKERS) against
a pair of old Yorkville Pulse 153's (15" woofer + horn). The BSA's sounded incredible compared to the Yorkvilles. They had detailed mids, better bass output and none of the harsh highs that the Yorkville exibited. They are plastic boxes with a 1" comprssion driver and 12" woofer with Speakon inputs rated at 250WRMS. The Yorkvilles are 15" + compression driver & piezo also 250WRMS. Coincedentally I own a pair of the 153's and I was suprised to see a no-name plastic box make them sound like crap.

No, but I used to have a motorcyle made by BSA: British Small Arms on Armory Road. Goes back in history to how the invention of ball bearings made it possible to make big boring bars which were used for making cannons, guns, and engine cylinders.
But not speakers.
But not speakers.
Don't know a thing about them other than their web site:
BSA SPEAKERS
I will say thet ALL the speaker makers now have the "plastic box" speaker in their lines. I blame the JBL Eon for starting it all.

A few of the drivers on that BSA website look like rebadged eminance drivers but with pis* poor terminal tab mounts. I doubt very much they'd be up to par with the RCF (insert other mid/higher end driver manufacturers)etc drivers that yorkville uses/used.

Bose beat them to it. But Community were probably the first, but that was hand laminated fiber glass not roto molded resin only.
