I got a pair by accident, not really hot on them in a 210 configuration compares to stock Eden Xlt drivers. I haven't really dialed them in yet.
Anyone using these as a bass driver in a 210 or 410*(or whatever). How do they compare to similar.
Would modgepodge work to stiffen softening cones, or is there another chemical to use? Damak varnish? Polyurethane? I don't care about high frequency attenuation, what matters is around 40-2000hz.
I'm trying to pick up 2 used ones and use them in a 410.
I also am on the process of reconing some aguilar sdk -10, 4 of them. (Can not wait to have 8 10" speakers! !!)
The cones I received have the same accordion surround, but can see light thru it.
The original ones have some kind of rubbery sticky stuff on it, what is that?

I haven't used them but all the research I've done seems to point to more upper bass-midrange reproduction. Check out the Youtube vid. ZZounds posted it so it should be somewhat accurate I would think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9Q8PDHzNq8
