I'm seriously considering stepping up to a single-ended amplifier, and am trying to get a handle on products that are of quality. From what I am reading, the quality of Chinese gear has been gaining a reputation of both good as well as bad. But as time goes by, the number of converts is increasing.
Which brings me to the Yaqin EL34 X 2, which is single ended. it is very nice looking, and seems to be reasonable in cost. Does anyone have any experience with this unit, or can pass along any learned opinions.
Naturally, everyone has an opinion, right?😀

Have not heard the el34 SE. But I bouhgt a Yaqin MS-12B preamp, which I converted/rebuilt as headphone amp. I too am interested in the sharp red color MS-34C with headphone out - I am a head-fi-er.
Yaqin products seem to have nice metal work, decent components(like step attenuator), some nice to have features (remote, soft touch source selection), sometime over-engineered structure, good workmanship, and lots of PCB - may not be good for mod. The circuit design is definately not a purist beasue of those added convenience features. But generally it is quiet with no obvious hum.
Bottom line, it looks pretty and it works. The sound? Can't say.
