Vancouver brought home a gold, a silver and a bronze.
Alas, I think San Jose wins this contest.

Still curious if hockey (field) is a sport you guys pay attention to. My only complaint is the one sided stick.
Welcome to Hockey NZ
Here, field hockey is a women's sport. The (extremely yuppie) HS I went to had a pretty good field hockey team, and lacrosse on the men's side...I would have preferred a football team 😛
But some of the field hockey players weren't bad looking, they wear skirts on the field 😉
I really enjoy watching ice hockey but only on International/Olympic sized rinks which are 4m (13ft) wider than the NHL rinks as they are less cramped.
Nice win for the Canucks last night. Still down 3-2 in the series. Anyone here care to comment on the officiating? I'm not allowed to use that sort of language. 😉
Mother's day so i missed the game. Just saw the hi-lites. Even with just that, I did some some hits i thot should have gotten penalties. Seems there have been lots of comments on the officiating.

Sami Salo took one for the team...a puck in the nuts! 😱😱😱
...that looked painful. Watching him try and get off the ice I was cringing myself. I wonder if he loses one...😱
The video replay boys in Toronto probably have a direct line to Bettman's ear piece for final judgement. Canadian team? NO goal!
Tough not to sound like a whiner but I think the league wants Chicago to win.
Certainly a Montreal vrs Vancouver Stanley Cup would not bode well for US TV revenues.

US TV revenues? 😛

If you don't get Versus here, it's not on. ESPN would rather show cricket highlights than even mentioning that dirty word, hockey.
Luckily, Fios comes with Vs.
What a difference a border makes huh? (I mean eh?) Your mighty NBC doesn't pay a penny while our lowly national network CBC has to pay in excess of 100 million to carry the games.

But US glassmakers would make a fortune after the riots.
Thankfully, we get CBC in the Seattle area. So there is hockey to be watched even for us bums who refuse to pay through the nose for fancy cable packages. 13 channels of **** on the TV to choose from. Still nothing on...
Go Canucks! Sorry, I can't make myself root for the Habs. It just feels so ... WRONG! 🙂

I feel the same way, but after being surrounded by all these bandwagon DC hockey "fans" for the 1st round, I couldn't help it...🙂
