Zero Cool,
Do you mind if I ask how much you got this amp for at Auction? By comparison, I previsouly sold an Old-school Orion sx2150 on eBay which needed a lot of repair/parts and had missing plates for almost $200 shipped - These amps go that high.

It came in one large lot of stuff so it would be hard to put a price on it. but suffice it to say it was NOT an item in the lot i was after so..
I don't really have anything to contribute. It appears to have a lot in common with the orion amps.
Heatsink profile near the outputs looks like the old 280gx
0.24 ohm emitter resistors like the xtr2150
Opto-couplers (as were already mentioned)
Buttons and switches like some of G2 orions
LEDs like many of the Orion amps
Inductor as DC input filter same style as many Orion amps
White transformer core like many of the early Orions
Identical screws, clamps and double-sided tape as those used in Orion amps
if they weren't made by the same manufacturer, maybe they sourced parts from the same place? or one looked at the other which parts are the best for reliability/price and used them too?
Zero Cool,
I had that exact model of amp back around 1992/93...powered a pair of MTX Black Gold 10's, very well I might add. Wishing I'd never got rid of it now. I'd say it made a good amount over rated, as this replaced an MTX RT-A2125, and was stronger and cleaner. If you want to unload it, let me know, I'm interested.
