I only consume news via the state radio (Swedish Radio, SR) and solely from their web page - no audio. The news is in short form. Keeps me up-tp-date and (mostly) only relevant articles. Never news on TV.

It's depressing that climate change denialism appears to be tolerated on what purports to be a non-political, science-based forum.I also got rid of my television 15 years ago.
Add man made climate change to the list in post#1.
Is the bloody football a version where they have knife battles on the pitch.
They heavily censor all words relating to the celestial climate change that lead to the ice ages.
If anyone claims ice ages were ended by man made climate change I will ceaselessly demand to know where they got there time machine from.
I agree that broadcast news bulletins can be irritating and repetitive, but giving up on serious independent journalism is dangerous - without it democracy dies.I have to say I have never been a keen news hound but just lately it has been particularly irksome ...
We are well past any sort of tipping point. The news/media is ALL market-driven these days, and the portion of the population that refuses to be brain washed is now the minority.
