anyone do a ML-TL for the W8-2145 ?

curious.............

after seeing "Hello, I bought a pair of SDS-160F25PR01-08 and two pairs of Peerless tweeters, TX25BG60-04 and BC25TG15-04 to choose for MLTL, it is possible that you can share me your MLTL design please?" (audiomovil)

then

"Greets!

FYI/FWIW, you got me curious to try HR's wizard, so did a max flat default L*0.349 offset MLTL (61.5" tall/56.36 L/35 Hz Fb) based on a a fairly common 38" seated ear height to the woofer center, though of course all can be adjusted to suit if driver offset is one of these: (L) ~ 0 (top), 0.217, 0.349, 0.424; vent: (L) ~0.651, 0.714, 0.848, 0 (bottom)" (GM)

Tall box though................................

dunno

Thanks ?

what am I looking at ?

I guess I am curious about what the box dimensions would be like.
Would be nice to have a box with driver at ear height, or closer to the center of the tv screen, but a 6-7' tall monster would be rough.

Ported butterworth 4th would be simple (but big) at 3.62 ft3.

As I noted, I used a ~1/3 driver offset, which is the optimum for most MLTLs IME as it requires the least damping, usually just some around the driver to quell nearby eigenmodes, but as I noted it can be at ~1/5 or right at the top (requires most damping), so (much) shorter for a given ear height/whatever, so what driver/floor spacing? I have a TB W8-2145 42.8 L ~36 Hz MLTL to modify. If a big screen, then normally the tweeter is at 2/3 screen height where folk's heads are focused same as in a cinema.

"Druid -size pipe" - tuned lower than Z-D. Here's the pipe with that 6.5" and with an Eminence B102 so it could be made to swap between the two if the driver cutout is on the wide side. (stuffing - etc. could be better probably)
