Well, I've narrowed it down to 2 designs I'm choosing between:
The Dayton D3 design on speakerbuilder.net, and the 8" woofer variant of that that's under "submitted projects" on the website.
Anybody know what the 8" sounds like? Weak mids?

I would love to hear the dayton 8'' mtms to compare with my D3's. I believe someone on the partsexpress messageboard is in the process of building the D8s and has already built the D3's. Oh and by the way, I love the D3's and am now considering building either the D8s or a more expensive speaker like the Eros or Proac 2.5. Also, you can build the D3 in tower form which I've seen a few pics of and they look fantastic.
