Anybody tried a slide projector?

Hi,

I have been following the DIY Video projector projects on and off, most seem to involve OHP's and LCD displays.

I wonder, has anybody tried to use a slide projector, with a small (2-3inch?) LCD display in the spot where normally the slides are placed? If this is old hat, I apologize beforehand.

yes. someone tried. the hard pard is where to find an affordable small lcd.

Yessssss an afordable lcd with high resolution, also peole had complaints with heat, but that can be fixed

OK, thanks for that guys. But, these 2 or 3 inch hi-resolution LCDs do exist?

ive never seen the thread containing the active cooling devices, i did a search for it last night an never found it, if possible can u plzz send me the link
