Thats a hell of an amp not to know the name of... Selling for $8k new? I would expect anyone who had it would know what it was.
(well, as an aside, along time ago some one who I worked with wanted me to check out the old stereo she had at home. Said it was old, took up too much space, didn't work right, and she wanted something new and fancy. Of course, it turned out she had a MacIntosh Pre and Amp, along with Klipsh corner horns. I regret I was too honest and told her what they were really worth - she got them in the divorce - and we traded them in on a really nice Denon system. She was happy.)
