Anybody know about these alleged "Patented" enclosures?
No commercial interest, just wondering about people's take on the "Patented Technology"

Interesting....
Looks like a candidate for a foam core build?
Not sure it would be better than a nautiloss, dagger or cone?

I wouldn't mind trying a foam core build of this design, if X (or someone) was kind enough to work up a plan. Sadly, I'm not skilled enough to do it myself. 🙁
Yawn, boring. Obviously never heard of Arthur Bailey & co..
Or Martin J. King 😀
I get the "Absorption" bit (helmholtz resonator, uncommon but hardly unique) and the "Transmission" bit is self evident, although the driver position looks a tad dodgy. "Reflection"? ummmm....
How anybody could get a patent on this kind of design is beyond me.
The Helmholz resonator in a TLS trick has been succesfully done around 1990 by Ir. Bernd Timmermans a number of times in the German Magazine Klang & Ton.
There is patents, patents, and then audio related patents...

Yeah, patented tech, but not theirs! Ha ha.
The pcb is likely to be the Bluetooth amp that comes with it.
And that driver looks like the TC9.
And if they have truly been designing and building speakers for 24 years, why would they need crowdfunding?
Plus, that graphic about where they stand along Bose, B&O and JBL is utterly meaningless.
A great example of what you might get if you have a good marketing campaign... aimed at the masses, because most people here would have the same reaction as I have read so far!
😀

Yeah, the site doesn't inspire confidence.
Just so. Re patents, a useful point to keep in mind is that they don't actually have to work. They just have to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the examiner, who may not be an expert in the field, that they are unique in some way. If it is unique, the patent is yours, subject to coughing up the requisite fees. If it isn't (or not entirely), but you're a good copy-writer with an inventive turn of phrase that can make it sound like it is, there's a good chance that will get through too.
