Has anyone done a project with a 12" TL sub?
It was kind of interesting when i read about the TL design. I am just curious to do one project with the TL design and listen to how it sounds, may be a sub or a two way monitor.
Any pictures or website where i can gather some information on this design would be appreciated.

Thats a rather difficult question. It is not that they are that much harder to make. Part of the fun of making boxes is being able to try out less common enclosures.
But TL's have their faithfull followers, just like horns. I did not bought these because they were TLs, but because they are rather good monitors for the price asked. And they get consistent praised for their bass, compared to BR types in the same price range. I wanted some monitors usable for a wide range of music types, they fitted the space availble and my budget.
Myself I'm more the horn follower, so I'm going to try out that first 🙂

Should look at the invoice. Was 550 or 450 euro for a pair of PMC DB1SM (magnetic shielded studio version: pianted black, not veneered) as demo units. Meaning they had been taken out of the box to show to a customer. They needed space in the stock.
