I've seen some pictures of projects where point-to-point construction was used, particularly for the OPS. I'd like to prototype my design and am curious about the use of a generic prototype board for the IPS and VAS and doing the OPS a la point-to-point.
Any tips or pointers from those who have or do use the technique for someone who has always never used the technique? How much of the OPS on the heatsink? Just the actual output transistors? Drivers too? Preferred terninal strips?
Thanks for any input.

I'm not quite sure if this is useful but if you Google "point to point versus pcb" you'll get a pretty detail article first up on a geofex site......
