Hey all, I was wondering if there were any online sources for empty rack mount enclosures for DIY projects. About 2" to 4" tall or so would be cool.
Middle-Atlantic has some plain steel ones in various sizes.

There must be tons of scrapped network gear (like 10baseT hubs). Strip the guts, and cover the holes with new panels and that's about the cheapest enclosure possible.

Iv'e built a few amps in 19" rack mount chassis. It's a lot easier to cut holes if you get one that has both an aluminum rear and front panel.
