I'm looking for PicoScope feedback. The software looks great (PicoScope 6), but it looks like I need to get the 4000 series for decent FFT & THD resolution.
I'm looking for basic amplifier and preamplifier testing.
I have used ARTA for and it seems to much of a pain for setup and consistent measurement (sound card levels input & output). The manual does not match some of the setup of external sound cards.
Feedback is appreciated.

I have both ARTA and a picoScope (an older model ADC 212-3 with 12bits of resolution). I also have an old Hameg analog scope. All have their strengths and weaknesses.

If you take into account the pittfals described in the above article, ARTA produces very stable results (much more stable then the RMMA software also described on his site), and I can really recommend this software.
