any opinions on this 7" LCD?
I found a link to a review on this LCD http://www.photo.net/equipment/portable_lcd/
from a guy using it for a digicam preview screen.
It comes with a both 12v and 120v powersupplies.
I figure the resolution (336,960 pixels) is around 700x480.
Has anyone tried using this for a projector?
it costs ~$129 at http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=328GL-70TV-N
and there's a 10% discount code GOTAPEX.

The resolution on that thing is actually 480x234. The number specified is the dot-resolution. That is they count every r, g and b dots that each pixel is made up of. That means they get a number that is three times as large. A marketing way of making the resolution look higher than it actually is.
I would personally not concider that a good display for a projector, but that really depends on your requirements and budget. A lot of people have made projectors with about the same resolutin and lower and they are happy with it.
