good afternoon,
i am in the middle of the seemingly endless process of trying to pick a new amplifier for my livingroom speakers (a modest pair of Fluance AVFRs) , and i'm leaning towards the ScalD_Amp2 from Connexelectronics.
they claim to deliver 94W @ 0.01% THD, which is far beyond the humble demands of my ears, and exactly the sweet spot for how much power my speakers want 🙂
has anyone had good or bad experiences with this particular amp?
the price is right, and the size fits my rather specific needs... but i am curious whether getting a newer D-amp would sound any better? have any significant advances in chip technology come about in the last three years?
thanks!
