My amp has output current proposional to the input voltage. It gives me very good details and dynamics, but it's not a class-A amp so that it miss the warmth of class-A. So, I was very eager to get taste of #0. Eeeng... however I folded my plan back due to very private reason. Anyhow, I really hope one of diyAudio members will win the bid.
Mr. Pass,
In your paper "Current Source Amplifiers and Sensitive / Full Range Loudspeakers", what wattage rating did you use for resistors R0 and R1. You give a value for the substitue pot but I couldn't find one for the fixed resistors. Please forgive me if the value is there and I simply didn't see it. Tnank you.

I actually used either 3 or 5 watts. It depends on the value
and how hard you're going to push the system, but when you
have 10 watts available into 8 ohms......

Great! I now am the proud owner of a piece of audiophile history and will receive a surprise to boot. I have been a DIY'er since around the time of the start of TAA in 1970 and really appreciate your contributions to the DIY community over the years. I feel privileged to own the first amp of your new company. I am happy to contribute to DIY audio which has been a source of much inspiration. Thanks, Bill
I am also a DIYer who would appreciate any contributions given to me which likewise would be a source of great inspiration. Did I get that right?

i'd bet that his (max) bid was over $3000, but no one else bid it up that high. can't fault him 😉
If I were bidding, my max bid would have been $10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000, but I didn't bid.
To the winner. I hope you enjoy it and thanks.

I hate angels, with their big wings and their whisperings and what.
I hope the amp sounds like .... that guy chasing the tow truck on the street below me, full of passion.

Sorry, only angels here. You have to go over to one of those
other forums for the sound of tow trucks. 😉
