I am sure most of the members here have heard about the legendary Seiko-Epson Sigma series of turntables by Takeshi Teragaki. However I am sure most would not know of his various patents on tonearms, pickups and a ribbon type speaker which he calls a wave theory transducer. Apparently all these have been collected in a book published by the Japanese publishing giant Kondansha and I am soliciting interest from this forum so that Kondansha can be convinced to come up with an English edition of the title. I have attached a picture of the title for reference.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I would hazard a guess that not very many people here have seen or in many cases even heard of the Seiko-Epson tables. (In truth I hadn't until sometime in the last year.) I only recently got curious browsing through recent copies of MJ where I saw pictures of one. Not something that would fascinate me, but other Japanese audio publications may be much more popular.
Any possibility of translating some of the MJ tube project books? Far more interest particularly in the tube area of the forum.. I'd buy them all in English (eventually anyway) - I have several in Japanese which I can't read....
