Any designs for a simple tube-based buffer circuit?

B+ voltage



The load line is below so the tube is operating at 150VDC and 10mA.
The circuit has a 15K cathode resistor so 15K x 10mA = 150VDC
so 150V+150V=300VDC. So the plate would have 300VDC as B+.
If you are picky, add in the 3V bias and you have 303VDC on paper.

Who knows if it would work with russian tubes. Why feed the russian war machine when there is no shortage of 12AU7 ?

Buy the tubes from Ukraina. If they are built in Soviet in the 60-70-s, do not matter. Help the Ukrainians.

maybe because i bought 6 6n6p tubes from a ukrainian Ebayer? My question is about music, not activism.

Don't forget the DC blocking output capacitor, for some reason he does not show it.

What's wrong with a bit over 100V DC on the output signal between friends 😉

220 or 240 ohms and maybe 6.8k resistor for 6N6P, 150V supply
Make sure the inductor is at least 50mA or more. Preferably 100mA
