I'm looking to build a relatively small 2 way Bass- Reflex stand-mount with easily obtainable modern pro drivers and horns (B&C, Faital, Beyma etc.) with 12inch Midbass and 1inch compression driver, something like the JBL 4429 in size (40-50 liters). Googled left and right but couldn't find anything.
Are there any well documented open source designs you can point me at?
Thanks in advance.

Since you are in Europe, contact jzagaja, he can make you just about any waveguide. Then combine basically any decent 12" a DE250. Are you able to do active XO?
Could do a Gedlee Abbey clone with B&C 12TBX100, DE250 and 12" OS waveguide. If you ask Dr. Geddes politely he may even tell you what you need for a passive crossover.

Personally I am very happy with Eminence coaxials; read about my ongoing stuff if you’re interrested:
Eminence Beta 12CX/ASD1001 coaxial upgrade modification options?
Eminence Beta 10cx pine build
There are tons of relevant threads with various crossover options for the same driver combos described in my threads, probably better than the ones I currently use for improves midrange, all in all I think it’s safe say those are good simple designs and proven solutions for a low cost and easy build.

Oh if you do find coaxials interesting Eminence have a new one which seems a whole lot easier to design crossover for given the smooth frequency response. It also looks way more rugged compared to the ones I’ve used. Triple the price though. All the same 1” screw on CDs shall work just as good.

Pi Speakers has a 3 pi model that can be built with several different 12" woofers and either an eminence or B&C compression tweeter. If you go to audioroundtable.com you can ask for the build plans free of charge.
The only part of the build that has to come from Pi is the waveguide. It isn't heavy or large so it's easy to ship to Europe. Everything else should be available locally.
I've got the 4 pi model which is very similar but uses a 15" woofer rather than the 12". It's a great speaker if horn/waveguides are your thing.

While speaking coaxials, Beyma 12XA30 is the best coax speaker I have heard until now - mainly due to its great HF section and well behaved LF. If you have a chance to 3D print your horn, DE500 + Joseph Crowe's ES800 horn above any good 12" in a separate box, time aligned with DSP crossover is also worth trying.
