Hi guys, I am new here. Hope to get some advice on replacement of the KT88 cradle. The hook up wire and resistors are roasted. What guage wire should I replace them. How do I confirm the resistors value? Sorry I am far from amateur but I have problem looking for a technician here. I have some basic how to though. Thank you very much.

Solder the components with its own leads, if they are short use new solid/hard wiring, for security reasons stay away from from stranded or used wiring. Use one or two gauge above the original wire.

Builders like stranded thou as it easy to solder.

Why did the parts burn out? You may want to check all 4 output tubes, and how well they are balanced. If one went gassy, that may have caused it to go into thermal runaway. Find the cause of the problem before you replace the socket and parts, or it may come again. Be sure the bias supply is working, especially the one that goes to the bad socket.
