Hello,
After 20 years of operation, my ANTHEM PRE 1 preamplifier is failure. The fuse in the power supply is blown. Does anyone have an electric schematic? I tried to contact Anthem and Partconnexion but I had no answers.
Thank you
if it were, such as replacing the transformer without the data of the electric diagram?
In the power supply module there are a GZ34 and two solid state graetz rectifier (4 integrated diodes each).
One could as a starter examine the power caps, startig with the B+ ( high voltages ).
One quich test is to pull the GZ34 and see if the fuse blows. If not you could
follow the B+ chain where the power caps are a suspect.
Today and tomorrow I will certainly not have time to do some tests. As soon as I start I will communicate the results here. For the moment, I thank all those who answered me
