Can't wait till the Textreme 6,5" and 9,5" drop. If I'm lucky I might get Frank to send me a pair and a quartet of them to replace my current paper cone Satori's. If not, I'll still buy them anyway. They are just gonna be so phenomenally good I suspect.
And the Dayton Audio Epique drivers are basically just Accuton C220-6-222 and a smaller version of the C173-6-096 with carbon fiber cones. Which as we know by now, Accuton motors aren't really the best on most area's except transient response.
This is just the 6" of the Epique:

Note: the non-linear distortion effects are excellent except near the break-up region; these measurements are a bit more "difficult" than you would expect from a 1-2 meter condition in an anechoic chamber. (..not unlike a a typical DAAS non-linear measurement and very similar to Klippel at higher spl.)
Linear decay below 1 kHz is especially impressive.
-as for Accuton, it depends on the model number, production number, and if it's had any damage from transit. Some are really excellent for their intended pass-band. The 222 certainly qualifies between 80 Hz and 1.4 kHz:

What happened with the Textrems?Dead silent, not even shown as "coming" on the Website. Can't wait till the Textreme 6,5" and 9,5" drop. Any Update highly appreciated.
If low non-linear distortion is what you are looking for, then check these badboys out: Transducers - Purifi
Not cheap though at roughly 450e a piece.

Although the SB Satori drivers are really good, it's not impossible to find even better performing paper drivers.
For example check out this Eighteen Sound midwoofer:
EIGHTEEN SOUND 6ND430-8 (Mid-woofer 6", 8 Ohm, 500 Wmax)
It has cleaner CSD, lower THD at the critical midrange, better power handling, smoother frequency response until break-up than a similar sized Satori. Efficiency is higher too but at the expense of bandwidth towards lower frequencies. Anyway, for ultimate concept, this would be a midrange driver.
It's has very similar performance like a SEAS Magnesium driver but with lower overall THD, higher power handling, much higher efficiency and much lower high order (4th, 5th) harmonic distortions. Although this measurement does not show it, it is visible at other measurements.
SB ACOUSTICS MW19P-8 (Mid-woofer 7.5", 8 Ohm, 140 Wmax)
SEAS W18EX001 (Mid-woofer 6.5", 8 Ohm, 250 Wmax)
Just my 2 cents.

Well, thats another one you cant buy yet....
Or did I miss something?
You didn't miss anything as the official sale hasn't started yet. You can contact purifi if you want early samples.
The first samples, including mine, are coming around mid to late october.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
How sexy...
Hitting myself with a hammer for stocking 8 MW19P-8 drivers now but on the other hand I think it'll take a year or so before they release MW19 and MR13 textreme versions.
I agree with you on ditching softdomes entirely. Going from TW29 to SB26ADC was a big upgrade for me. Having difficulty to find a better tweeter. BlieSMa seems the only option.
Also, 0.12g mms for the 25mm Be version enters ribbon territory, which is nice.

Perhaps this wasn't mentioned but the whole Satori MW/MR will be released as TX, beyond this, Ulrik mentioned a 13.5" satori woofer which was never released, so I scratched his back 😀An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Don't forget about the Viawave SRT-7

If you add a one more zero in front of 12 you might end up in ribbon territory.
Peerless 810921 doesn't fair bad in that regard having 0.18gr moving mass. Not too shabby for 60€ tweeter.
Bliesma T25A-6 = 0.13g - (Al/Mg)
Bliesma T25B-6 = 0.11g - (Be)
Bliesma T25D-6 = 0.15g - (diamond)
Viawave SRT-7 = 0.018g - (the improved GRT-145)
SEAS 27TAC = 0.36g - (their latest Al tweeter.)
