I have no doubt that our friends system here should be able to do very well in the 60-100Hz range
Everything has been said 😀 (i'm kidding)
It's a bit speculative, if you haven't experimented the SLS 12 in OB.
The baffle is beautiful, the drivers are also beautiful and the design is superb.
i'm too curious 🙄
I suppose its all speculative however the SLS has good specs for this application and even though the xmax is not huge from the Grenada's I never noticed their 12" drivers ever exceeding 1-2mm even at big room filling live you are there in the club levels. And as I said relieve them of below 60 or so over to a subwoofer and bingo - should put plenty of smiles on appreciative listeners.

Hello,
Its speculative to speculate.
The motor seems vastly underpowered to control the 522cm^2 on the desired spectrum in a OB baffle application.
I'm always impressed by people's imagination when I look at those many OB speakers...Including yours of course!
qeimajo - perhaps you could comment on your experience of the sound of your system - visually it is really elegant

detailed experience in sound and measurements will come latter. Now is only one speaker finished. Also my wide ribbon is not yet ready. Many people are sceptic regarding bass. But in this stage I can say that I'm very very satisfied with low frequencies. Bass is very loud with small excursion. You can immediately feel uncoloured bass. Peerless woofers showed very good performance in OB design.
My ribbons are still under construction. Before this project I've made prototype ribbon 25mm wide and 30cm long 5 micron thick Al foil driven by Amorphouse step-down transformer. In this loudspeaker Ribbon is most advanced speaker and sound like magic. You can hear frequencies that you can not hear with normal speakers.
Many people are sceptic regarding basss.
Hello,
I was thinking useful to advert you of a risk of a technical issue... your loudspeaker will do bass, for sure 😉
