another dumb questiion from the great white north

looking for complete equations regarding horn efficiency and alterations regarding dB.

I've done the standard searches to no avail.
Can this be related to So and SL, horn length, or shape?
It's pretty frustrating when I satart doing searches. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of good information other than "buy this book".

I understand the basic mathematics but am looking for a calculated means for establishing horn efficiency. Any ideas..?
