I can use the general search feature ok. But when browsing forums and threads, the search box closes up just as the virtual keyboard starts to display.
Not a show stopper as it probably works on my PC but curious to know if this is a reported issue.

Any UI issues are unlikely to be resolved until we upgrade the forum software, which should be happening in the next 2 months.
I have the same experience with two Android phones. Also Tapatalk on Android is no longer able to log in. On a new install it would not work- claimed network error, then on an existing install I got kicked off and could not log in with the same problems.
I got some feedback from the TapaTalk guys. They said the plugin currently in DIYaudio is old and needs upgrading. However if a software upgrade is in the works maybe it should all happen at once.
Yep I have the same problem with android. I just wait till I'm on a desktop, but it can be a bit frustrating.

The workaround on Android for me is to click on the 'search this thread' link, the little box drops down, then click 'advanced' and this takes you to the search page.

I have had trouble with Tapatalk, but if I configure my Tapatalk settings to user agent = auto it works. But then AVSforum doesn't. It requires user agent = mobile.
I always use the search link at the bottom of each page when on my phone. A small workaround is also to paste into the search box something from the clipboard.
