Actually, this is shocking! I was thinking of looking him up when we go to Scotland this summer. Requiescat.
I am surprised we did not notice the lapse in posts. Prolific, he was!
I know I wondered where he found the time to post!
No question, everyone at DIYAudio interacted with Andrew at one time or another.
This time one can say with sincerity: it just won't be the same around here ...
PS
Just took a look - last post 8th of February. Surprised we did not notice his absence. We all are too busy, aren't we?

In his own way, he guided and challenged at the same time and urged us to think through problems to further our understanding. I shall miss him
My best to his family.

OMG this is quite a shock. He was such a great contributor, and we were really lucky to have such a knowledgeable and capable person donating so much of his time to help us.
My sincerest condolences to his family.

That comes as a chok. So sad to hear it. Had some communications going with him on mail some months ago. The most helpful person with whom I´ve had the pleasure to exchange ideas and parts more than once. He´ll be missed big time. R.I.P Andrew.
Although I never met Andrew in person, he leaves a legacy behind him that may never be equaled. He will be sorely missed.
Very sad news. Condolences to the family. He was a great person and one of the most contributing members here. RIP...
Well damn! That's sad news. A few of us were wondering why he hadn't posted lately. Very sad to hear the worst is true. R.I.P. Andrew.
Damn! Andrew was a seemingly indefatigable reader and advisor, to experienced and inexperienced alike, and, had I ever had the temerity to post my own "original" circuit proposals, I would have welcomed his comments. I'd like to think that he has inquired about the "pin 1 problem" up there, been told he has been correct, and is indeed resting in peace.
