And about lights?

Hi at all!
It's possible to talk about lightnings in this section?

I want to buy some moving head for my service...

But I have some question...

What do you think about only 4 moving head wash 7*8w led rgbw? In master/slave?

To poor for a music party?

It'possible to use a couple of spot moving head whit gobos (1 master and 1 slave), together with four of simply par56 in slave mode, whit the moving head dmx master signal?

Or it's possible using the wash and the spot moving head together with master/slave mode?

Thanks

IMO... with moving heads you are completely wasting your money if you don't have a half decent controller connected, because the build in macros will have the heads pointed everywhere except where you want them 98% of the time. There are some very good options in both hardware and software controllers that won't break the bank but you have to look outside the basic Chauvet Obey, ADJ Operator series.

Exactly what I suppose....🙁
Thanks....
In sound active mode I say it's impossible to limitate the tilt/pan excursion
And in open space it's probably that the light create problem at dj...
But the MH led spot with gobos make few light, are only for entertainment, the par56 are fixed and I use only it for light the floor and for strobo effect...
No... you're right... too uncertain result 🙁

And using a dmx to usb adapter, and using some software?

And about the type of lights that I want to buy?
To poor for party?
Are better the Moving Head spot with gobos or the wash for start a party in my situation?
What is more complete and usable?

If you have led par lighting already then simply adding moving head spots will produce good results, I have some 60w spots that I purchased directly from China on AliExpress and these do a good job, this is pretty much the minimum LED power I would suggest and more is better.. 75w and 90w are now common. These heads are full featured with rotating gobos and a prism and motorized focus, these features are what you want to produce professional looking results.

I also have a Blizzard ProKontrol MH, this console is specifically designed for moving heads with built-in movement macros that can be customized and saved into scenes, and multiple scenes and chases can be run at the same time. This makes this one of the best budget controllers on the market at the moment.
I also have an Enttec USB interface and a copy of FreeStyler which is a free DMX software, this system is even more powerful but a little more difficult to learn.
Both of these options will do what you need for $300us or less.

And while I personally do not mind that we discuss it in this section, it really is not a PA system, nor is it audio. I would expect it belongs down in the "Everything Else" section, just to answer your first question.

Thanks conanski 🙂

There is a problem... I want sound active sistem... because i can't stay all night long near the light mixer... and it's impossible beat the bpm...

The only things is place the spot horizzontaly, and if they point the sky, the people see only the light beam generated from the spot to the sky... and par56 light the floor...

Or the spot beam is invisible whitout the fog machine? Because in open space, my little 700w fog machine is useless...

Place it vertically create certainly problem to dj...

Thanks conanski 🙂

You don't have to stay by the controller and you can still run sound active, it will just cycle through the scenes you have programmed. This really isn't optional with moving heads, yes it is added complexity but it will deliver better results... much better results.
