Don´t know, if they´re intended or not, but if not..... You might wanna remove the "shorts" before powering up 😉Heres pass p 1.7.
Brass heatsink, distributes heat equally, original Harris irf610, itt relays, siemens 0.1% resistors bought for attenuator but not installed, mkc caps paralleled with Russian petp capacitors.
Think its gonna be a nice preamp with its finished, haven't figured out chassis yet.

It’s cosmetic, to reproduce what I could see of the commercial unit that inspired my build.Bigun, admire your careful layout, labels, and build. Is that white substance a strain-relief at the ends of the resistors ?

Not a build, just assembly 🙂 Muses72320 vollume control with Single-ended to balanced converter. Dont mind the wiring on the RCA, about to redo them ith twisted pairs solid core silver wire. 3 RCA inputs, 1 3.5mm input on front, XLR out....
I might have some problems with the voltage out, getting 9V on XLR at full gain and 0dB...i create a thread about it.

What do you think.
I have a class A SE mosfet amplifier and music source is topping E30 with custom rca wire, left and right summed to mono with 1k resistors and now i have done Equalizer APO mod where i can get mono output even the phase shifted effects and other stuff what music makers ever have make or simply by nature when recorded stereo sound.
I can tell you that i have found something new for many songs with that mod on that software .

Passive pre-amplifier with Relay Attenuator for 4 inputs and 8*32 dot indication.

I had just one evening to build a stereo passive volume control for a power amp using whatever I had in my junk box.
Criteria was excellent quality components and it must be heavy so that it stays put.
I found a couple of chunks of Aluminum bracket for the weight, cut a couple of pieces of Baltic birch and drilled holes in a couple of aluminum plates - simple construction helped keep it under control and it all had to be done in a garage with gloves on due to freezing temperatures.
Had to be smart with use of available screws.
Found a nice Noble potentiometer, and a roll of Teflon coated small strands OFC signal wire.

Beautiful job. Congratulations 👍👍
Not only analog LINE level section for me, but also RIAA equalization section :

Good afternoon to everyone, below my second semi-serious creation, a dual mono hi fi preamplifier with operational amplifiers, complete with pre riaa section with RC load that can be sectioned via an external rotary switch... I carried out some measurements... what I have to tell you: it sounds very, very good... I like it a lot. You can see details that can certainly be improved (primarily the colors of the inverted channels)... please let me know your thoughts, I would be very happy. Good evening Ros
