Hello everybody.
I have just made-up a schematic for 128 step relay controlled pot, I have not test it yet.
This relay-controled pot can replace a conventional pot, and it is easy to fit into other equipment. (For instance if you want to controll the pot via a remote controller)
The schematic shows a 100k lin pot. If yoy want to made a log pot the values for the resistor will be:
R1=R8=1
R2=R9=5.81
R3=R10=39.61
R4=R11=269.81
R5=R12=1838.2
R6=R13=12523.57
R7=R14=85322
(If my calculations is right)
If you want a 10k pot, you can divide the resistor values with 10.
I think I will use a microcontroller from Atmel to control the pot.
I have not so much experience with relay-controled pot so it will be nice if I can get feedback from some of you.
