I am new to this Group and very happy to have found it and to have been accepted.
I would like to amplify an electro acoustic guitar that has a built-in Belcat equalizer/preamp EQ-505R.
I would like to achieve this with a computer self amplified sound system that has a good woofer/speakerenclosure.
The equalizer/preamp is not powerful enough to drive the speaker system. Making some research I found that Texas Instruments makes a "Professional microphone preamp" INA217 which is said to be both cheap in price and of excellent quality.
Did anyone ever use it or are there better alternatives ?
Thanks.
Gilles.

You don't need anything that 'good', any simple opamp would be more than enough, noise isn't an issue at the line levels involved.
