Hi, I just finished emailing my friend Twitchie and I thought I'd post here as well.
Just recently I've been bitten by the open baffle bug so I have a pair in the queue to be built.
One of the many neat things about open baffles is that they are high sensitivity (100db+).
This means that they will take very little horsepower (watts) to achieve the listening levels I enjoy.
A quick sidebar, not too long ago I took my pair of passive crossover speakers active and it was
an amazing improvement. For that reason alone I fully intend to make my OBs active.
Now comes the design question. I'd like to build four channels into a single enclosure in
the spirit of First Watt/Pass Labs. Something (relatively) low watts class A. Haven't really
come up with any ideas yet.
Suggestions?
Regards,
Dan

Yes, I've been down that road already. I have dual M2x's powering my current speakers. Having four channels in a single enclosure may have it's challenges but I might be up for that. Very much in the planning/contemplating stage right now.

Another thought might be a smaller (stackable) lower power class A.
