i do not understand way too many useless component, chevin amplifier sound great only OP134 and few diodes res two to92 transistors
to drive 8 pair lateral mosfet , no need vas driver etc

You right, but i have some not good experience about opamp based amps. So we designed our tda7293 with jfe2140…. I want to build to discrete amp for my mosfets. Thanks you so much for your attention 🙏
@Ultima Thule
No, i dont said it, please just look my vssa project, firstly i builded with 20p20/20n20 and bias couldnt down under 350ma. But vssa works 185ma bias. After i bought 10n20/10p20 it worked good about bias. Maybe this problem only for vssa amp. I dont know. So i have little doubt to use double dies on hitachi or other lateral mosfet applications
there is a problem with the bias components or the amp was oscillating.
according to the graphs both types need approx 1.2v across bias cct for approx 100/200mA
I have 6pcs 10n20 10p20 and the others lateral mosfets. I can do good project with them but as @arjen6t8 said they are lying…Why use ECW20N20?
What is the gain with using them?
ECX10N20/ECX10P20 are good enough.
If i want to build an amp, one of them would be one of your projects.

Vssa is nice amplifier i listen to it some times…also fixed bias problem with 10n20 and 10p20there is a problem with the bias components or the amp was oscillating.

Double transconductance -> lower Vgs required for the same current -> useful with low supply voltage and follower output stages. Why use ECW20N20?

Lower distortion for the same circuit, as well. 😎
It’s max 25 very clean W to 4Ω. I’m currently driving magnepans with it and it is loud.i can try but i want to little more power 🔥
However, for more power with laterals, I don’t believe there are better designs than those by @dadod. 120W or 200W designs available:

Unfortunately I have no SPICE models for these transistors.
But ECF20N20/ECF20P20 also have double die, but in T-O3.
For those I have SPICE.
Should it be possible to use these models for ECW20N20/ECW20P20?
Are they similar in parameters?

ECW vs ECF. AFAIK they are the same die in different packages.
Excellent ECW and ECX models by IanH & keantoken were posted many times in different threads related to designs with laterals, so you should easily find them.

I saw model txt on @tombo56 amps theards. I will find and send youUnfortunately I have no SPICE models for these transistors.

But my Multisim can not use them.
I have tried several ways.
For the first there no 'VDMOS' in Multisim. Only NMOS and PMOS
But I can and will use ECF20N20/ECF20P20 models.
According to datasheet the parameters are very close to ECW20N20/ECW20P20
HH (england) VX-15 MOSFET amplifier.Maybe we need to touch zener diodes on LTP too.. What is this amplifier's model?

If I were to design a discrete amplifier!, my dream topology would be something like this...Maybe a professional DIYer could help us out.
I have designed this topology for my TDA7293 this topology.

I would say the same, but I’m biased. 🙂Excellent choice!😉
So, a good choice for both amplifiers. 👍
