I have a hybrid Vincent monoblock that is having an odd problem. When listening the woofer moves in and out slowly on one of the monoblocks. I haven't noticed any distortion though. I have tried a digital source after thinking it was a resonance issue with my turntable. I swapped channels on my preamp, interconnect cables, speakers and speaker cables. This is the amplifier causing the issue. Has anyone ever seen this? Where do I start?
Thank you in advance,
Scott

Usual issue is inadequate power supply decoupling between stages, but there can also be low freq. resonances due to interaction of input stage with signal source, esp. when there’s nfb to the input
My money is on the PS caps, specifically driver stage supply decoupling. I would check for bulging caps.
Does it do it when there is no signal?
Just tried it and it does do it with no signal as well.
Looks like I may just recap it, I have the 16 10,000uf caps needed for the job on hand. Will keep you posted.
